Kyler Kerbox

Kyler started and completed most of his flight training right here at Fly Maui and now works full time as a Certified Flight Instructor. Growing up on Maui, he’s always loved being outdoors — whether it’s flying, surfing, or spending time in the ocean.

He enjoys sharing that same excitement for flying with his students and showing them that you can complete all your flight training right here in the islands. Every day brings something new, and that’s what he loves most about it. When he’s not in the air, you’ll probably find him out surfing or hanging around the airport talking story with other pilots.

Kyle studied aeronautics at The University of North Dakota. He completed the majority of his flight training in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kyle says “The best thing about flight instructing is meeting new people and helping them reach their goals.”

When he’s out of the cockpit you can probably find him golfing or fishing.
